This marble floor restoration posed a few problems as it needed significant lippage removal and also had deep scratches and multiple stains that had to be addressed.
Step1: Marble floor cleaning. We started the process with a mechanical deep clean to restore the very dirty grout and prepare the floor for grinding.

Step 2: Marble Floor Grinding: The next step was to grind the floor flat. This is a key part of a professional marble restoration if the floor has lippage or deep scratches then this aggressive step cannot be overlooked.

Step 3: Marble Floor Honing: Once levelled the floor was now ready for Honing. This step is needed to remove the scratches created from the grinding of the floor as the diamond resin pads and machinery we use to grind the floor will leave scratch marks which will show up on the finished floor if the correct procedure is not followed with high attention to detail.

Step 4: Marble Floor Polishing: Once the floor has been honed to a suitable level, its time for the fun part where we get to polish the floor with the chosen method and product. Step 5: Floor Sealing: Any marble floor restorer who takes pride in his work will not leave the floor unsealed. This crucial step will give protection from the everyday spills and absorbent nature of the stone preventing the dirt from tracking beneath the surface of the stone. An impregnating sealer is usually best and was used here to get stunning results the owners were blown away with.
